Ok, haven't posted here for a while. I think I'll post what amounts to what this thing is designed for... wierd, I know.
So... what's been happening, well, Jex's party was good, as was the LAN the following night. Alice has now moved to Canberra (she was my girlfriend for those who only follow me through this medium). That kinda sucks. I've got a contract to do a job, shouldn't be too bad, I mark it at about a day's work for $600, though, I'll have to get an ABN and keep records which means I'll probably have to pay tax on it. That said, I can't see my income getting so high as to make tax an issue this financial year. Speaking of tax, just got tax back, $1k, not too shabby.
Touch season ended last night on a pretty apalling loss, though I got a try, so it's not too bad. Actually, in touch I was getting paid for being a player ref. So in the end it was a pretty good deal, I got half priced fees from the team because we are required to contribute one, and paid for my effort. Netball's going well, I think they've finally decided we belong in second division... though it's a close run thing, we have a tendency to win just enough games in division one to make us questionable, but lose just enough games in division two to make it look like we suck. It must be confusing for them. Mum's coming to visit this Friday, so I see much tidying and cleaning in my future. The place is pretty bad right now. Uni's been going not too badly this semester (up until about the last week). Been going to lots of lectures and getting decent marks on assessments. Though I think I may have missed a lab for one unit, must investigate. In other news, I got a frequent flyer card today. So I can start building up points with the epic amount of travel I do. I think I'll have to investigate that and as to whether I can get points doing other stuff. And now I depart you to do a lab. Hopefull it will be as easy, but less retarded than it was last week (though now I've figured out what I was doing wrong last week, I feel pretty confident.) (Last week I was giving some software a too convoluted directory structure, who'd have thunk h:\elec3307\info.txt is too onerous). Bye all.

I rolled my ankle playing netball tonight. It wasn't that big an issue at the time, so I played on, but it's beginning to really hurt. If it stays like this for a few days I think I might even have to go see a doctor or something.

Mahatma Gandhi, as you know, walked barefoot most of the time, which produced an impressive set of calluses on his feet.
